Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and SpinDrop Technologies Ltd, [Registered business address], Lagos, Nigeria ("SpinDrop"). By creating an account you accept them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.
1. What SpinDrop is
SpinDrop is a marketplace that connects customers with independent laundry marts. Marts set their own services, prices, opening hours and fulfillment options, and are responsible for the laundry services they provide. SpinDrop is not a party to the service agreement between a customer and a mart.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and give accurate information.
- Each phone number can hold one account with one role (customer or mart owner). The role can't be changed.
- Keep your password and verification codes private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from your account settings.
3. Orders and payment
- Prices come from the mart's live menu when you place an order. Your receipt shows every line, any pickup fee and the total. SpinDrop charges customers no platform fee.
- Payment is settled directly with the mart (for example cash or bank transfer). SpinDrop does not process payments.
- A mart may decline an order and must give a reason. Receipts cannot be altered after they are issued.
- Questions or disputes about a service should be raised with the mart first. We may help where we can.
4. Mart owners
- Keep your listing, prices, hours and contact details accurate and honour orders you accept.
- Comply with consumer protection, tax and other laws that apply to your business.
- Pay SpinDrop's service fee: a percentage of the total of each completed order (currently 2%), billed weekly every Monday and due within 7 days, payable online in the app. If a statement isn't paid within that grace period, your listing is hidden from search and from past customers and can't receive new orders until the balance is paid. Orders already in progress continue. Fees may change with 30 days' notice.
- Use customer details only to fulfil their orders and keep your required records, as an independent data controller under applicable data protection law. Do not use them for marketing without consent.
5. Reviews
Customers can rate a mart once per completed order. Reviews must be honest and lawful. We may remove reviews that are abusive, fake or infringe others' rights.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse SpinDrop: no fraudulent orders, interference with the service, scraping, or attempts to access other people's data. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
7. Liability
SpinDrop is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, SpinDrop is not liable for the quality of services provided by marts, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
8. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will notify you in the app before material changes take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without limiting consumer protections of your country of residence.
